- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this acquisition is RFQ7047 issued as request for quotation. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is not a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 325998 and the small business size is 500. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by this agency. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases intend to procure chemical products. Item/Description/Quantity: 1) Compound pre-plated set (50 uL of 10mM each)-Qty- 50,000 each. Fifty thousand compound reagents from more than one thousand different scaffolds should be provided in 0.50 umol quantities as 10mM stock solutions in DMSO. The compound must be formatted into 384-well plates according to NIAID instructions. Must provide NMR spectra to demonstrate the purity and identity of the compounds. Place of delivery NIH/NIAID Bethesda, Maryland 20892. The government will award a firm fixed-price purchase order to the responsible contractor. In order to be considered for an award, an offer or must have completed the online electronic Representations and Certifications located at http://orca.bpn.gov/ in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a). By submission of an offer, the offer or acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee shall be registered in the CCR at www.ccr.gov/ prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract, basic agreement, basic ordering agreement, or blanket purchasing agreement resulting from this solicitation [Note: Lack of registration in the Central Contractor Registration will make an offeror ineligible for award.] Offers must be submitted no later than 5:00 P.M.
