- THIS SYNOPSIS REPLACES ANY PREVIOUS SYNOPSIS UNDER THIS SOLICITATION NUMBER. This synopsis is for two NSNs: 9150-01-424-7696 & 9150-01-424-7698, Lubricating Oil, Hydraulic. Respective unit of issue is as follows: Unit can contains 1 QT and Unit drum contains 55 gallons. These NSNs are in accordance with Part Number 8T9566, manufactured by Caterpillar, Inc. (CAGE 11083). MSDS and OSHA hazard warning label are required. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Solicitation will be issued as an Indefinite Quantity Contract, Firm Fixed Price with EPA with one twelve-month base year plus two twelve-month option years. Solicitation will not contain progress payments. Surge & Sustainment requirements do not apply for either NSN. For 9150-01-424-7696, pricing will be based on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) Quantity which is 6,096 QT for the base and option years. The Guaranteed Minimum Quantity (Base Year Only) is 1,524 QT. The Maximum Contract Quantity is 9,144 QT for the base and option years. The Minimum/Maximum per order for the base and option years is 1,524 QT / 3,048 QT. For 9150-01-424-7698, pricing will be based on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) Quantity which is 852 DR for the base and option years. The Guaranteed Minimum Quantity (Base Year Only) is 213 DR. The Maximum Contract Quantity is 1,278 DR for the base and option years. The Minimum/Maximum per order for the base and option years is 213 DR / 426 DR. Solicitation will be issued under the procedures of Other than Full & Open Competition as an unrestricted procurement. These NSNs are commercial items. FOB is Destination. Inspection/Acceptance is at Destination. Quantity Variance is plus 10% or minus 10%. Required delivery is 30 days ARO. All DPMS orders will be for depot shipments on an Inspection/Acceptance Origin and FOB Origin basis. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. DLA-Direct delivery will be to Richmond, VA only. This item is a critical application item. This item is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). The solicitation will be issued on April 20, 2007 with a closing date of May 11, 2007.
