Description

SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE ON THE FEDTEDS WEBSITE (www.fedteds.gov). The Corps of Engineers (Corps) is planning a pilot program to fertilize Dworshak Reservoir to balance the nutrient levels in the reservoir and to enhance reservoi r productivity. This will require weekly applications of liquid fertilizers to 3 areas or zones of the reservoir. Total amount and types of fertilizer for the 2007 program are approximately 2,800 gallons of 10-34-0 (ammonium polyphosphate) fertilizer and 37,620 gallons of 32-0-0 (urea-ammonium nitrate) fertilizer. The Contractor shall provide two storage tanks to hold delivered fertilizer at Dworshak Dam. The Contractor shall provide a pump delivery system to pump the fertilizer from the storage tanks to the Government application tanks. ADMIN INFO: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 424910. Solicitation is 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. For the purposes of procurement, a concern is considered a small business if it has 100 employees or less.
