- This is a modification for the combined synopsis/solicitation that was previously posted. The following information is either a correction from the original posting, or additional information for your use in providing a quote. The email address for the point of contact is gena.norton@us.army.mil There are three students, in total, requiring the training courses. Two students are required to attend all of the courses listed in the previous posting. One additional student is required to attend the Close Quarters Counter Measures Course, Narcotics Interdiction Course and the Tactical Vehicle Operations Course. If the students travel to attend the training the following items need to be provided; ammunition, facilities to conduct all courses, equipment specific to the training, M4 Carbine weapons (the students will bring 9M and shotguns), vehicles (Nissan patrol type SUV's), all curriculum information and established course standards. If the training is coordinated locally the contractor will need to provide; all curriculum information and established course standards, instructors with credentials, ammunition, M4 Carbine weapons. The students are looking for training in these courses at an intermediate level. The training should not exceed 5 days per course, but may be shorter if course standards can be met. The courses are expected to be conducted and completed prior to 30 September 2007. As part of the driving training, winching operations and off road driving needs to be included in the training. Prospective contractor shall acknowledge receipt of this modification with their solicitation response. Subject synopsis/solicitation remains unchanged other than the changes brought forth by this modification and is due 13 April 2007.
