Description

The work includes, but is not limited to: Removal of existing 5" thick asphalt concrete pavement and 6" sub-base and provide new 6" crushed stone base, 2-1/2" thick asphalt base course and 2-1/2" thick asphalt surface course. Provide seal coats for the existing asphalt concrete airfield pavements; grind existing concrete surfaces prior to new overlay (depth 2"); groove existing Portland cement concrete surface and provide testing for asphalt concrete pavement to include tests for compressive strength, density and specific gravity. The estimated magnitude of this project, to include the four(4) twelve (12) month option years is more than $10,000,000.00.
