- 316th Contracting Squadron, 1535 Command Drive, Andrews AFB MD, 20762-6500 will issue a solicitation for Bus Services in support of the 2007 Joint Service Open House. The government will award a firm fixed price contract resulting from this RFP to the most responsive, responsible contractor whose proposal represents the lowest priced-technically acceptable offer. The contractor shall be a licensed transportation organization and shall subcontract directly with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) for 300 buses with licensed drivers. This solicitation a full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 485210 and the small business size standard is $6,000,000.00. The solicitation will be made available on the Government Point of Entry (GPE), Fedbizopps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ on or about 8 Mar 2007. Paper copies will not be available. You may download the solicitation and fax or e-mail your quote in as required in the solicitation. Telephone requests will not be honored. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any documents. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code). All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
