Description
CONTACT Nick Petouses, Production Engineer, (732) 532-7122. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for spares for the 100/200KW Alternators used on the 100/200KW Tactical Quiet generator sets. This contractual effort is for a five year flexible long term contract with a low, mid and high quantity range for the entire five years. The quantity ranges for the 100KW Alternator are 3ea.(Low), 5ea.(mid) and 7ea.(high) and the quantity ranges for the 200KW Alternator are 5ea.(Low), 10ea.(Mid) a nd 15ea.(high) for the entire five year flexible long term contract. Request that suppliers provide the Govt with their Production Lead time and a cost estimate for these items. The NSNs are 6115-01-520-6411 for the 100KW Alternator and 6115-01-519-9151 for the 200KW Alternator, Commercial Part #s 0116-1120, Cage Code 93742 and Part # 432PSL6309, Cage Code 38151 for the 100KW Alternator and Part # 0116-2120, Cage Code 93742and Part # 157PSL4800, Cage Code 38151 for the 200KW Alternator. There are curren t sources for this item. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these units is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing or repairing these units must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC- CCS-E-GN, Building 1200W, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit from the previous suppliers listed above. The response should also include production lead times, number of years part will be available, price break ranges if applicable, part number & CAGE of proposed parts, or a ny other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The Government will consider parts from other sources that have the same form, fit, and function as the required parts, Alternate parts would have to pass extensive performance and qualification testing to ensure the parts meet the Militarys requirements, the cost of which would be considered in the acquisition decision. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perfor m when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
