Description
The U. S. Army Joint Munitions & Lethality Life Cycle Management Command, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources capable of manufacturing, loading and packing, inspecting, and delivering 81mm, and 120mm mortar propelling charges. The specific propelling charges required and the approximate base year quantities are as follows: M218 274,560 M219 133,120 M220 1,335,360 M233 520,000 M234 299,520 Any resulting contract is expected to be firm-fixed price, with a basic quantity and four firm-fixed priced and evaluated options. Potential candidates must have experience in fabrication, assembling and inspection of propelling charges. Potential candidates must possess the necessary equipment, facilities, and tooling to fabricate and deliver the above components. Potential candidates should have the capability of high volume production. Interested firms should provide, at no cost to the government, a summary of their firm???s past experience, capabilities, size of business (small or large business), description of facilities and personnel to meet these requirements, including equipment, tooling, processes, quality control and any other areas of expertise that may enable them to undertake this effort. The market survey is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on this market survey or otherwise pay for the information solicited.
