- This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The office of NOAA National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service located in Fairbanks, Alaska intends to acquire the following items: 1.) qty of three hundred twenty (320) each UPS12475 FR C & D Technologies, Inc. Dynasty Batteries or equivalent, valve regulated lead acid battery for UPS standby power applications 12V 134 AH at 20 hour rate, 12 475 watts/cell at 15 minute rate. The salient characteristics will be available in any solicitation issued. 2.) Battery installation - this includes labor to remove old batteries, install new, and travel expenses. The existing batteries being replaced are found in units two EPS6000 500 KVA SN: 208488-01, 06. The delivery is required by May 11, 2007. There will be a one week advance notice required prior to performing battery conversion. The government reserves the right to solicit offers based on receipt of affirmative responses to this notice. Only firms that can provide the exact equipment described herein will be considered. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of its publication. All responses must be in writing and may be faxed to (206) 527-7115 attention to Mona Ash. ****The Western Regional Acquisition Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
