- Description
- The Government intends to execute an unrestricted procurement for Liquid Oxygen (LOX), TYPE II, GRADE B OF CGA G-4.3, and Liquid Nitrogen (LN2), Type II, Grade B, Class 1 of Commercial Item Description A-A-59503A, dated, 9 Nov 06 Superseding A-A-59503, dated 1 Jun 00. The contract(s) ordering period will be from 1 Oct 07-30 Sep 09. Copies of CGA standards for the LOX may be obtained from the Compressed Gas Association, 4221 Walney Road, 5th Floor, Chantilly, VA 20151-2923. Electronic copies of CGA standards may be obtained from http://www.cganet.com/. The product will be delivered FOB Destination into government-owned tanks at Norfolk U.S. Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA. The total estimated contract quantities per year are 228 tons for LOX and 30,000 gal for LN2. The resultant contract(s) will be a two year firm fixed-price requirements-type contract(s). Offerors are required to have the capability to support bulk shipments. Offerors may propose a stand alone price for each of the product CLINs. Subject solicitation will be issued on or about 30 Mar 2007 and posted to the FedBizOpps web page at www.fedbizopps.gov.
