- The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to award on a sole source basis a GSA task order which contains open market items. The purpose of the task order with NextiraOne Federal is to upgrade the existing base telecommunications infrastructure at Quantico Marine Corps Base (MCB), Virginia. The open market items being procured were proposed as part of a total solution procurement competed in accordance with FAR part 8, competition for GSA Schedules. The open market portion of the procurement is less than 50% of the overall value of the task order award and includes various items from Corning, American Pipe, AC Miller Concrete, MaxCell Business, Emerson, Oracle, Hewlett Packard, Cummins, and Nortel. As this was a competed procurement under FAR Part 8, this notice is not a request for quotes. There is no solicitation document. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals. All responses or questions regarding this posting must be in writing and may be sent via email to <isicontracts@usmc.mil>. No phone calls will be accepted.
