- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation ; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N68836-07-T-0087 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This procurement is set aside for small business 02. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-19. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423840 and the business size standard is 500 employees Fleet Contracting Center, Naval Air Station Jacksonville Fl intends to purchase on a the following line items Steel Rolling Safety Ladders, Item 0001: Five ( 5 ) with 15 Steps, Item 0002: Four ( 4 ) with 12 Steps, Item 0003:Two ( 2 )with 9 Steps, Item 0004: Four ( 4 ) with 8 Steps, Item 0005: Two ( 2 ) with 6 Steps, Item 0006:Four(4 ) with 5 Steps , Item 0007: One ( 1 ) with 3 Steps ,Items 0001 thru 0006 the steps should be 36? wide x 7 ? deep serrated (GS) tread, top platform 36? wide x 35? deep, 42? Handrails with solid fixed midrails and 4? toeboards, 57 ? 59 degree climb angle, height to width radio of 3 to 1 (Floor To Top Platform ) not including hand rail, 1? OD tubular ( or square) frame; material ? galvanized steel ( no paint required), Four (4) Caster set-up: 8? dia. x 2 ?? wide heavy duty hard rubber wheels, spring loaded ?lock-safe?. Swivel on back, fixed on front.Individual foot brakes and 500 lbs capacity. Item 0007 the steps should be 24? wide x 7? deep serrated (GS) tread, top platform 24? wide x 20? deep, 30? std. handrail, height to width radio of 3 to 1 (Floor To Top Platform ) not including hand rail, 1? OD tubular ( or square) frame; material ? galvanized steel ( no paint required), Four (4), Caster 4? x 2? wide heavy duty hard rubber wheels, spring loaded ?lock-safe?. Swivel on back, fixed on front, individual foot brakes and 450 lbs. Capacity. The total is twenty ?two ( 22 ) ladders for delivery to Jacksonville, Fl.. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 , Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer. The Government intends to make a single award to the eligible, responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation, and is the most advantageous to the Government considering price and price-related factors.
