Description
Response date has been changed from 04/09/2007 to 04/16/2007. Please respond by 2:00pm on 04/16/2007. * Essential Characteristics, 1.c - Cube The required dimension stated is 5.4 cubic feet. How was this measurement established and what criteria were used in determining this size requirement? Is that the minimum or maximum size and would variations be accepted? Response: As stated in the RFP, 5.4 cubic feet is the maximum size. Smaller would be preferable. * Set Up A clearer definition of the set up timing requirement to load disposable and prime the unit. Is there a range of acceptable times? Response: If you desire to include information regarding the set-up times and resulting benefits in your submission, please include them in the Technical Proposal section. * Flow Rates/Heating The current solicitation states 5000 mL per minute flow. Clarification as to the accepted range and definition of variables within that range. Are higher rates more acceptable? Response: The flow rate in the RFP is 500ml per minute, not 5000ml per minute as stated in your question. The essential flow range is outlined in the RFP. If you desire to include information regarding additional flow-rate capabilities and resulting ben efits in your submission, please include them in the Technical Proposal section. * Advanced Capabilities Define the Bolus selections and capabilities including variable rates. Response: If you desire to include information regarding bolus selections and capabilities including variable rates and resulting benefits in your submission, please include them in the Technical Proposal section.
