- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a request for quotes. The associated North American Industrial Classification System code for this procurement is 332912 with a small business size standar d of 500 employees. This requirement is requested to be Brand Name or Equal. All quotes need to be received by 10 April 2007 at the Contracting Division, Walla Walla District Corps of Engineers, 201 N. 3rd, Walla Walla, WA 99362, Attn: L. Birdsell. Ple ase submit the required Representations and Certifications under FAR 52.212-3 with the quote. FOB Destination shall be Burbank, WA 99323. Line Item 0001: 6 each, ITT Engineered Valves, Fabri-valve Knife Gate Valves, Model C67R-304EBU with 8-inch pneumatic cylinder operator. Operator and special paint to be a duplicate to SN: 8215101. These Bi-direction Knife Gate Valves assist in the bypa ss migration of juvenile fish around the Dam. Company must be registered on Central Contractor Registration before an award can be made to them. If company is not registered in CCR, you may do so by going to the CCR web site at http://www.ccr.gov. PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES: The following Provisions will apply: FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration, FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. The follo wing clauses will apply: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, and in FAR 52.212-5(b), Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, the referenced clauses: 52.219-6, 52.222-3 , 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.225-13, 52.232-33. Other applicable clauses: FAR 52.211-6, 52.252-2, DFAR 252.204-7004A, 252.212-7001. EVALUATION: This solicitation will be awarded to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Delivery shall be made within 30 days from receipt of order. Numbered Note 1 applies to this Solicitation.
