Notice of intent to procure from single source (CLIN 0001) Zon Mark V c/w Radio Receiver (CLIN 0002) ZON Mark III Plus/Mark V ? 4? Tripod (CLIN 0003) Zon 2? Extension Set Max. 2 Sets per Tripod (CLIN 0004) 12V Solar Kit (CLIN 0005) 99 Channel Hand Held Transmitter Contractor: Margo Supplies Ltd of Alberta, Canada. I. DESCRIPTION OF ITEM: The Zon Mark V is a bird avoidance scare cannon is a propane gas cannon system operated with radio controlled remote devices without software. II. PURPOSE OF ITEM: To keep birds away from runway and prevent plane/bird collisions. III. CIRCUMSTANCES REQUIRING SOLE SOURCE: The Zon Mark V will result in the airfield bird abatement system to an effective level or operation. The system is very user friendly and requires very little training to operate. The Zon Mark V will satisfy the requirement of system replacement and provides for the minimum needs of airfield operation. The Zon Mark V can provide upgrade to the exisiting equipment being used. It is the intent to award to Margo Supplies of Alberta, Canada. This is not a request for quote.
