Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the acquisition of off road, winter, fuel oil with anti-fungal additive, a commercial item, prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16. Quotations are being requested via this notice only. A written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation/Request for Quotations (RFQ) number is RFQ209030009-7. This acquisition is reserved exclusively for small business concerns. The North American Standard Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 424720 and the associated size standard is 100 employees. This acquisition is to furnish 21,500 gallons of off road, winter treated, fuel oil with anti-fungal additive to the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) McKean as follows : 11,000 gallons for Tank 2 and 10,500 gallons for Tank 3. Delivery is to take place within 48 hours after receipt of order and shall be coordinated with FCI McKean powerhouse, (814) 362-8900, x3608. CONTRACT CLAUSES: 52.252-2 -- Clauses Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998). This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. OTHER CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS: It is anticipated that contract award resulting from this solicitation will be made on approximately April 12, 2007. In accordance with FAR 46.503 and 46.403(a)(6), the place of acceptance for supplies under this contract is at the destination, FCI McKean. Finally, the contractor shall be in compliance with 8 CFR 274a regarding employment of aliens. Failure to complete the registration may result in elimination from consideration for award. Quoters are further advised to mark each individual item within their quote considered privileged or confidential under the Freedom of Information Act with notification that the data is considered confidential and privileged and not subject to mandatory disclosure under the FOIA. Line Item 0001 - $_____________/gallon. Price per gallon of fuel oil is inclusive of the cost of the fuel, anti-fungal additive, delivery, and applicable taxes. The contractor should provide a list of the last three contracts awarded to your firm which are of a related nature. Include the following for each: Customer Name, Address, Phone, Fax, Email address; Contract Number; Contact Person; Type of Work; Contract Amount; Contract Status (Active or Complete). The contractor should also provide contact information for a financial reference to include Bank Name, Address, Phone, and Contact Person.
