- Western Area Power Administration, Sierra Nevada Region (SNR) in Folsom, CA requires the removal and/or trimming of trees that have been designated as a Priority Three under high voltage power lines as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the Task Specifications. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Performance-based contract. The North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 561730 with a threshold of $6.5 Million. This solicitation is set aside 100% for small business. Contractors must be licensed by the State of California to work under high voltage power lines and also must have a safety plan approved by SNRs Safety Office before award can be made. If offerors are not currently registered in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA), the Representations and Certifications must be completed and returned with the quote. The Service Contract Act, FAR 52.222-41 applies to this work. Employees must comply with the current Department of Labor WAge Determination 1977-0727 latest revision
