- CORRECTION: INCREASE IN QUANTITY 1. LINE ITEM 0008 MEMPHIS CLASSING OFFICE INCREASE QUANTITY FROM: 4,000 SAMPLE SACKS TO: 8,000 SAMPLE SACKS 2. INCREASE TOTAL QUANTITY FROM: 37,500 WOVEN POLYPROPYLENE COTTON SAMPLE SACKS TO: 41,500 WOVEN POLYRROPYLENE COTTON SAMPLE SACKS THE REMAINING INFORMATION STAYS THE SAME. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation AG-4740-S-07-0004 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text format at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This is a total small business set-aside and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The North American Industry Classification code is 314999. A quotation is requested to provide: The purchase of 37,500 WOVEN POLYPROPYLENE COTTON SAMPLE SACKS TO BE DELIVERED TO 10 USDA LOCATIONS. A PRE-PRODUCTION PROTOTYPE SACK MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH EACH QUOTE AND WILL BE TESTED AND MUST BE APPROVED BEFORE QUOTATION CAN BE ACCEPTED. All quotations and prototypes must be received by the closing date of this solicitation and will be considered best and final. The FAR provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Award will be based on the best value to the Government. Evaluation of quotations will be made on past performance, ability to meet delivery schedule, and price. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the FAR provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The FAR clauses at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition.
