Description
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Ecosystems Research Division (ERD), 960 College Station Road, Athens, GA 30605 intends to award a fixed-priced purchase order for a Asymmetric Flow Field-Flow Fractionator (AF4) System. The intent of this solicitation is to procure one AF4 System meeting the minimum technical requirements specified below: Purchase Request: Asymmetric Flow Field-Flow Fractionator (AF4) w/UV-DAD detector Purpose of Instrument: To allow for fractionation of naturally occurring and man-made colloids in environmental samples. Specifications of Requested Instrument: ? Integrated bench top or cart top unit with computer and LCD monitor ? Must include all AF4 parts, including injector, pumps, filters, detector ports, interfaces, and flow channel in one integrated unit. ? Data acquisition hardware and software and all cables and drivers ? High performance dual piston main flow pumps with flow pulse <1% and flow rate range at least 0.1 to 9.95 mL/min ? Syringe pumps for cross field flow generation ? Nanoparticle separation capacity from 1nm to 100uM ? On-site system set-up and user training ? Minimum 1-year warranty ? UV-Diode Array Detector (DAD) with capacity for at least 10 wavelength changes per run and that will provide the UV-visible absorption spectrum of a chromatographic peak and permit analyses of the analytes with a variety of wavelengths. ? Section 508 Compliance data must be provided for the computer hardware and software The NAICS code for this procurement is 339111, size standard: 500 employees. The acquisition is unrestricted in regards to business size. Anticipated award date is April 30, 2007. All items shall be delivered to US EPA ERD, 960 College Station Road, Athens, GA within 60 days after receipt of order, FOB Destination.
