- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement to Alpha Dyno Nobel, DBA Alpha Explosives. Alpha Explosives, 3400 Nader Rd, Lincoln, Ca 95648-0310 Estimated award $19,858.50 This is a firm fixed price type contract for the purchase and delivery of Explosives for the annual MCAS Miramar Air Show. This notice of intent is not a request for Expressions of Interests (EOI's), proposals or quotes. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the services sought includiing pricing data and technical data sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the Government is available. The Government will be the sole determiner regarding an offeror's ability to meet all requirements. The Government will consider all EOT's received within five (5) days of the date of publicatin of this notice, as long as they are received prior to 1600 PST on the 5th day after publication. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for determining wheher to conduct a competitive procurement. EOI's sent via the US Postal Service should be mailed to MCAS Miramar Contracting Office, P.O. Box 452000, San Diego, Ca 92145-2000 EOI's sent via UPS or Federal Express or hand carried must be delivered to MCAS Miramar Contracting Office, Bldg 6311 Mitscher Way, San Diego, Ca 92145 during weekdays, bewteen the hours of 7:00 am and 4:30 pm.
