- This Pre-solicitation notice is in support of a Sources Sought notice issued March 28, 2006 and hereby provides the attachments referenced. This Pre-solicitation is for providing information only. This does not constitute a Request for Proposal or an Invitation for Bid and does not obligate the Government. Funds are not presently available for this notice. Original Sources Sought Notice read as follows: The Dept. of Interior, Bureau of Land Management, Boise, ID, is requesting potential sources for a future Avionics Upgrade for a DHC-6-300 Twin Otter aircraft. Sources need to be capable of performing design and install of avionics upgrades. This requirement will include an engineering analysis of all currently installed avionic systems and a recommendation of new systems to be installed, removed or replaced. Two separate attachments providing the aircraft history and a detail listing of potential upgrades accompany this notice. Aircraft is located in Idaho and will be available for site visit during solicitation process. Potential sources are also requested to provide an estimated range of cost and the estimated lead time for providing same or similar upgrades on this aircraft in two-phase approach of design and installation (will be used for information purposes only). Potential sources should provide name and phone number of contact: name of firm; and location of facility in an email to: Tina Young at tina_young@nbc.gov.
