- The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) is seeking qualified sources to provide and develop an Environmental Assessment (EA) Report to be used by the BIA, Navajo Region for the proposed road construction project on BIA Route N9010 within the vicinity of Pine Springs, Apache County, Arizona. The length of the road being proposed for construction is approximately 18.783 km (10.366 miles) from County Road 7250 and extending approximately 2.0 miles north from the BIA School in Pine Springs, Arizona. The EA shall be prepared in accordance with BIA NEPA Handbook; National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended, and the implementing regulations issued by the Council on Environmental Quality (40 CFR Parts 1500-1508) and procedures issued by the Department of the Interior (516 DM 1 through 7); Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act (16 U.S.C. Sec 661 et seq.); National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended (16 U.S.C. Sec. 470 et seq.); Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (16 U.S.C. Sec. 1532 et seq.); Clean Water Act; Safe Drinking Water Act; Clean Air Act; Wetlands Protection Act Protection of Wetlands, Executive Order 11980; Resource Conservation and Recovery Act; Toxic Substance Control Act, Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act; Applicable Tribal Laws and Regulations; Flood Plain Management, Executive Order 11988; Executive Order 13007 Scared Sites; and Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act. Interested firms are invited to respond to the source sought announcement by providing information as follows: (1) Company name, address, telephone and fax number; (2) Capability statement and relevant experience in performing similar scope of work within the last five years, contract numbers, contract values, brief description of work, name of Government (Federal) Agency point of contacts, addresses, and current telephone and fax numbers; (3) valid Dun and Bradstreet number; (4) copy of Central Contractor Registration; (5) U.S. General Service Administration ? GSA Schedule Number with copies of the signed contract agreement and modifications; and (6) copies of sign contract agreements and modifications from other established sources for Federal Agencies to place orders under the Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quanties Contracts, Blanket Purchase Agreements, and Basic Order Agreements. BIA will not pay for any information submitted for the cost incurred associated with providing the information. This announcement is not a solicitation at this time. Written information is due at the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Division of Acquisition, 301 West Hill, Room No. 346, Gallup, New Mexico 87301, by 4:30 pm (local time) close of business, April 13, 2007.
