Description

The United States Army Communications - Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC), on behalf of the United States Army Project Manager, Night Vision/Reconnaissance,, Surveillance, and Target Acquisition (PM, NVRSTA), Product Manager Forwar d Looking Infrared (PM, FLIR) intends to solicit, on a sole source basis, Raytheon Company, 2501 W. University Drive, McKinney, TX. for production quantities the Long Range Advanced Scout Surveillance System (LRAS3). The proposed effort will be for a five (5) year, multi-year, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for up to 2,727 LRAS3, ancillary equipment, spares parts, Test Program Sets (TPSs) and product engineering (on a time and material basis), in support of Current Force Army Fieldings, and Operation Iraq i Freedom (OIF)/Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). Any resultant contract will also contain five program year options for additional LRAS3s, ancillary equipment, spare parts, TPS and product engineering, and one additional option year. Tracking number of W 15P7T-07-R-M204 has been assigned to this effort. This synopsis is posted for informational purposes only, and is not to be considered a Request for Proposal. See Note 22.
