Description
This is a combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being r equested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. The solicitation W901UZ-07-T-0008 is issued as a Request for Quotations. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 26, d ated 02/12/07. This procurement is unrestricted and issued under NAICS code 532412. The North Dakota Army National Guard is requesting quotations for the lease of various types of construction equipment to include required maintenance. Items do not have to be brand name specific, but must be equal to or of greater quality and size. Operators of leased equipment will only be responsible for the daily Preventive Maintenance Checks & Services. Vendor will be required to give Equipment operator familiarizat ion brief upon delivery Note: The periods of time may change, indicate additional costs (if any) for extending or shortening the lease periods. Equipment needed is as follows: item description, quantity, location needed, dates and duration of time need ed. 1. 950 CAT Loader or comparable with 4 ? yard bucket, 1ea, (Bismarck, Regent, Mandan, and Douglas), ND, 1 May-15 Aug / 3.5 months. Include one time pick up, transport, and drop off to and from the following locations: Bismarck, ND to Regent, ND. R egent, ND to Mandan, ND. Mandan, ND to Douglas, ND. Douglas, ND to Bismarck, ND. Dates of transport are yet to be determined. 2. 322 Long Reach Track Hoe 55 to 65 reach with John Deer type controls. Must have ballistic shatter proof windows for demo lition project and have at least a 45 inch bucket, 1ea, (Bismarck, Mandan, and Douglas) ND, 1 Jun-15 Aug / 2.5 months. Include one time pick up, transport, and drop off to and from the following locations: Bismarck, ND to Mandan, ND. Mandan, ND to Dougl as, ND. Douglas, ND to Bismarck, ND. Dates of transport are yet to be determined. Quotes are due in by 11 AM Central Standard Time on 4 April 2007. Offers will be evaluated as to the best value to the government including equipment maintenance/repair o r replacement response time; price and other factors such as past performance will be considered. Award will be made based on the best value to the Government. Multiple awards may be issued to meet our requirements. All technical evaluation factors other than cost and price, when combined, are significantly less important than price.
