Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Electronic Proving Ground, Fort Huachuca, Arizona is soliciting proposals for the following requirement (No Substitutes): 4 each; Kontron, PN: CVX-1800PM1GB, 1.8GHz Intel Pentium M P rocessor, 2MB L2 Cache, 1GB DDR SDRAM, 64MB Video, 2 type-II, 1 Type-III PCMCIA Card Bus Slot; 4 each; RHDE2-80G, Upgrade to 80GB Removable Hard Drive with Heater, Internal DC to DC Converter with input range of 6.5-30VDC, Simultaneous LVDS and RGB Output, Amplified (2W) Stereo speaker out, stereo MIC in, Line in, Mouse/Keyboard Interface, IBM Compliant PS/2 Serial Ports: 2 RS-232 Ports and 1 USB to RS-232 port, I/O ports  2 x RS-232 serial ports, 4 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x IEEE 1394 port, 1 x VGA External Mo nitor Port, 1 x EPP/ECP parallel port, 1 x LVDS External Monitor Port, 1 x RJ-45 port, 1 x 5.8 inch PCI Card Slot, 1 x CF Slot, 1 x Open Mini-PCI slot for WLAN expansion or other technology, Microsoft Windows XP Professional, CD Power Cord and Speaker Kit; 4 each, ENVII-DSP121, 12.1 inch, 800x600 1400 NIT, Resistive Matrix Touchscreen Display; CBLKIT-20FT, 20 FT Straight Cables; KB-TP-E, 85 Key QWERTY, 3 Level Backlit Keys, Mouse Pointing Device, connects to KB MPLT, NEMA4 IP 56; 4 each, PSE2-ACUS, AC Adap ter  US; 4 each, KB-MPLT, Display Mount to GJ DS Series, Display/Keyboard Mount To GJ DS Series. FOB DESTINATION: Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Payment will be made by Government credit card under Net 30 Terms. Offers are due no later than 12 noon, Mountain Standard Time, Thursday, 5 April 2007. EVALUATION CRITERIA/PROCEDURES: Offers will be evaluated based on the following best value criteria in descending order of importance: Meet ing the requirement, Proposed Delivery Schedule, Past Performance, and Price. The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-1 6. This is a total small business set aside. The NAICS code is 334111. The solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) and will be awarded as a firm-fixed-price. All Electronic and Information Technology will be Section 508 of the Rehabilita tion Act of 1973 compliant. The following FAR provision 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial items, applies to the acquisition. FAR provision 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items, applies to the acquisition (See evaluation criteria above). Off erors shall include a completed copy of FAR provision 52.212-3,Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, and furnish Offeror's Tax Identification Number, CAGE Code, Central Contractor Registration Number, DUNS Number, and applicable FSC Codes with its offer.
