- Provide school bus transportation for school age students residing at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, during the period 1 August 2007 through 14 July 2008, with one one-year option period. The contractor shall provide all personnel, buses, equipment, tools , repair parts, supervision, and other items and services, except as specified in the solicitation as Government-furnished, to manage and operate school bus transportation. Requirement includes daily transportation for approximately 2800 students, daily transportation for approximately 150 special needs students, and transportation for special activity trips. This requirement is unrestricted. All responsible sources may sub mit a proposal. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal offers the lowest price among those rated as technically acceptable. The NAICS code is for this requirement is 485410 with a size standard of $6,500,000.00. The solicitation will be issued in electronic format ONLY and will be available on or about 9 April 2007. The solicitation and any amendments will be posted to the Fort Knox Contracting homepage at: http://doc.knox.army.mil as well as the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at h ttps://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Proposals will be due on or about 8 May 2007. All dates stated herein are subject to change. Proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the proposal submittal instructions contained in the solicitation. Proposal wi ll not be accepted by email or facsimile.
