- The primary objective of this effort is to assess and demonstrate the viability of technology that will eliminate the need for a conventional Target Detection Device (TDD) in guided tactical air-launched missiles. The SITES technology is intended to satisfy the precision fuzing portion of total lethality performance needs in lieu of a conventional, separate Target Detection Device (TDD).
