- Description
- The 325th Contracting Squadron (325 CONS/AETC), Tyndall AFB, FL intends to offer Timber Sales on the Tyndall AFB. Work will consist of harvesting all trees designated for removal as specified in the Statement of Work. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to ensure that timber removal services are performed at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, in a satisfactory manner. This sale consists of 1 harvest unit under 1 CLIN consisting of approximately 176 acres. There will be approximately 2,939 tons of pulpwood and 1,478 tons of chip and saw. Timber will be sold on a lump sum basis. Contractor is required to comply with Florida Best Management Practices (BMP) for silviculture to protect and maintain the State's water quality, during all activities. This is a notification to interested parties. The solicitation number for this announcement is FA4819-07-T-0010. The applicable North American Industry Classification System code for this sale is 113310. Please identify whether or not you are a small or large business based on the size standard of 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the agency. Contractor shall be responsible for downloading solicitation. No hard copy solicitations will be issued by this office.
