- In accordance with OMB Circular A-76, the United States Department of Labor, previously announced a Multiple-Agency-wide Standard Competition for Administrative Support Services, (a component of the Other Non-Manufacturing Operations Study announcement)(LBU-1). The previously approved OMB extension of up to a total of six months will be used in order to complete this competition. This competition must now be completed no later than September 28, 2007. The extension is being used to complete evaluations of offers received only and the final decision may end up being announced much sooner than the actual extension allows. No further proposals or inquiries are being requested. The decison outcome will definitely be advertised/synopsized in the FedBizOps. The intent of the competition is to determine the most efficient and cost effective method of providing the subject services. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Study will determine whether these services should be performed under a contract with commercial sources or through the federal work force. A contract may or may not result. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561990 All Other Support Services.
