- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard intends to solicit, and award a sole source procurement to Peninsula Engineering Solutions Inc, in San Ramon, CA. The Coast Guard has a requirement to procure 1 ea RF-2000E-01 Microwave Repeater P/N 900-0210-01; and 1 ea Amplifier, Spare, RF-2000E, Repeater, P/N 090-0194-01. Procurement of 2Ghz microwave repeater to replace existing repeater located at Sheratin Mtn in Kodiak, Ak. Repeater must be replaced as it is operating on a frequency that is not authorized. Substitutions are not acceptable. The Coast Guard has determined therefore that competition is not available. If no responses are received within fifteen (15) days with sufficient information to determine that another responsible source is available, negotiations will be conducted with Peninsula Engineering Solutions, Inc. Performance shall be in accordance with the standards contained in applicable purchase order clauses contained in the award. This solicitation will be small business set-aside. The NAICS Code is 517410. The size standard is $13.5 million. The contract type will be firm fixed price. Negotiations with Peninsula Engineering Solutions, Inc. will begin on or about 11 April 2007.
