- Description
- The Forest Service requires spraying of approximately 2,640 designated lodgepole pine trees in 12 designated recreation sites in order to provide protection from Mountain Pine Beetles. This project is located on the Challis, Yankee Fork, Lost River, and Middle Fork Ranger Districts of the Salmon-Challis National Forest, Custer County, Idaho. This project will be advertised as a commercial item performance-based written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The performance period will be 14 calendar days. Work is estimated to start June 11, 2007, actual start dates will be dependent upon weather conditions. Quotes are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, May 10, 2007. The solicitation will be available on approximately April 12, 2007, and can be downloaded from this site at that time. All responsible vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database. You may register at www.ccr.gov. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered.
