- St. Joe Ranger District, Shoshone County, Idaho. Services to remove derelict mining equipment, to include 2 D4 Tractors, D6 Tractor, D7 Tractor, D8 Tractor, Dredge, Excavator, Cable Drill Rig, Low Boy & Equipment Trailers and associated parts, equipment, general waste and petroleum contaminated soils. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, transportation, supplies, supervision. Some disassembly of equipment required for load and haul. The equipment and parts will be loaded and hauled to a Government facility in Missoula, MT, waste material to be disposed of at legal disposal sites. Access to the site from Superior, Montana, from St. Regis, Montana, or from St. Maries/Avery, ID over long, winding, often narrow native surfaced roads. Project located at old placer mining operations on Sherlock Creek, approximately 16 air miles southwest of Superior, Montana on the Idaho Panhandle National Forests, St. Joe River Ranger District in Shoshone County, Idaho (SW quarter of Section 15, the Ne quarter of Section 21, and the NW quarter of Section 22, Township 43 North, Range 10 East, Boise Meridian). Parties are encouraged to visit the site to assess the access and the work. A site visit will be conducted during first week of July 2007 if interest is indicated. Performance bonds required, project period estimated to be August - September 2007. Solicitation is unavailable at this time.
