- Description
- The Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is seeking potential Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) sources with Industrial Building Construction and Renovation capabilities. The project covers restroom renovations for ADA Compliance and new Fire Pump Installation at the Russell Research Center located in Athens, Georgia. The magnitude of construction estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NAICS code is 238220, with a size standard of $13 Million. PROJECT SUMMARY: The Russell Research Center was built in 1968. Under a phased-approach modernization program, all restroom facilities require renovation to meet ADA compliance standards. The project includes the total renovation and modernization of 26 restrooms. The work will be phased (east wing/west wing) to facilitate continual restroom facility access on each floor. The project will also include the installation of a new fire pump. Interested firms are invited to respond to this announcement by providing the following information: a) geographical location(s) of major and satellite offices, b) SDVOSB status information, c) company literature/documentation supporting experience in similar work (type and size), d) past performance references for similar work, identifying experience performed within the past five years, and e) information on available bonding capacity. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. THIS REQUEST IS INTENDED ONLY TO IDENTIFY POTENTIAL SOURCES. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this sources sought announcement or to otherwise pay for the information requested. The deadline to respond to this notice is APRIL 18, 2007. Requested information shall be limited to no more than 10 pages.
