- The Defense national Stockpile Center (DNSC) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with ADT, Inc., Alexandria, VA under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting From a Single Source for the purchase and installation of a wireless fire alarm system. This is a sole source requirement as the current fire alarm system is ADT?s and this action is to convert the current system to a wireless system. A fixed price contract will be issued on or about April 16, 2007 with a 120 day performance period. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, in writing, no later than the response date. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ) nor is it a request for competition.
