Description
Amendment 0001: This modififcation is issued to answer questions. 1)Q: Will the main AC Electrical Service panel need to include Transient Voltage Surge Suppression (TVSS)? A: Yes, I plan to keep and operate motorola radio equipment in the building. If a Type 1 TVSS is required to uphold warranty then yes please include it. 2) Q: Can you tell me how far off the main road each site will be? This is to inquire on how much of a chance there will be for a vehicle to get stuck in sand. A: The buildings will be located in KFR at OP64. They will be placed approximately 50 meters off the main access road. This main access road is KLM road. KLM road is not paved but it is regularly maintained. Chances of getting stuck are very slim. T he problem would arise if, for example, truck driver takes a wrong turn and tries to make a u-turn. When making the u-turn, the truck driver may fail to recognize soft sand while turning and get stuck. However, I intend to have the trucks escorted in from the gate to minimize chances of truck taking a wrong turn. 3)Q: What type of equipment is this shelter going to house? Radio, RF, Data Networking, etc? A: This building will be used to conduct counter battery radar testing, items that will be housed inside the buildings include but are not limited to: computers, monitors, a printer, a shredder, radar diagnostic equipment, radar spare parts, hand tools, ch airs, desks, telephones, radios, cabinets, bookcases and office stationary. 4) Q:Will this building be used for public safety (P25) applications, or dedicated solely to military/government use? A: No public use, the buildings are strictly for use by government employees and government contract personnel directly supporting counter battery radar test efforts. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (27-MAR-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
