- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a Purchase Order to Tone Software Corporation, 1735 South Brookhurst, Anaheim, CA 92804 for the maintenance and upgrade support on Dyna-Step software for period of 04/07/2007 through 08/25/2007. The maintenance and upgrade support shall include upgrades over the period, updates, fixes and technical support and is currently known to be available only through Tone Software Corporation. This software is used to enable the technical staff to dynamically allocate and free STEPLIB, ISPX and other data steps anytime without repetitive LOGOFF and LOGON procedures. It automates STEPLIB allocation through startup CLISTS and REXX executions to provide concurrent access to multiple product versions such as DB2 and transparent access to both test and production systems from one ISPF session. Other organizations that believe they are capable of meeting the requirements of SSA are invited to submit information establishing a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. If SSA does not identify other acceptable sources capable of providing this requirement, the agency shall issue a sole source award of the product and maintenance under FAR par 13, Simplified Acquisitions. This is NOT a Request for Proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of the information received. Verbal responses are NOT acceptable and will NOT be considered. Responses to this notice must be submitted by April 2, 2007, by 12 PM EST. Responses may be sent via E-MAIL ONLY to the point of contact listed below. NO PHONE CALLS OR FAXES WILL BE ACCEPTED. No submissions may exceed 5MB.
