- Description
- U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting with Flame Enterprises Incorporated, 21500 Gledhill Street, Chatsworth, CA 91311-5878, Battery Sensing Relays, P/N V110-J-020-AC for the MH-47G aircraft fielded for USSOCOM. The proposed action is for an item that Leach International has designed, developed and manufactured but is distributed by Flame Enterprises and the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. Firms that feel they can provide this item or equal are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal, however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date (in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The estimated release date of the solicitation is 3 April 2007 You may request a copy via e-mail to awatson@tapo.eustis.army.mil. The purchase will made as a commercial buy under FAR Part 12.
