Description
THIS REQUIREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES ONLY. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621112 with a size standard of $9.0 million. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has established a Drug Testing Program mandated by Executive Order 12564, ?Drug-Free Federal Workplace.? As a result, the NRC has a need for two highly, qualified Medical Review Officials (MROs) to review all NRC employees (NRC Headquarters, Regions, and remote sites), applicants, and occasionally contractor personnel urinalysis test results; to interpret and evaluate positive test results; and to advise NRC management officials of their evaluation and findings. Executive Order 12564 and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Mandatory Guidelines, dated April 13, 2004, and newly revised Medical Review Officer Manual . The specific tasks to be performed, as well as terms and conditions will be addressed in the solicitation which will be issued on or about March 28, 2007. The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order, utilizing FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The performance period will include a 12-month base period and four (4) 1-year option periods. The competitive solicitation, all amendments, and any questions and answers related to this requirement will be made available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing this website and must respond to the solicitation requirements in order to be considered for award of any resultant Purchase Order. A written solicitation document is not available, telephone requests will not be honored, and a bidders list will not be maintained. To be eligible for award, interested parties MUST be registered with the Central Contractor Registry at www.ccr.gov. See numbered Note 1.
