- The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) has a requirement for scientific, technical, engineering and administrative support in the areas of ESM technology development, ESM hardware and software engineering support, ESM systems analysis support (addressing architectural and functional tradeoffs to optimize performance), ESM electronic, mechanical and optical specialist support, ESM technology development support for International Programs, and ESM technology development support. The anticipated period of performance is a basic award of twelve months with four 12-month options, if exercised. The anticipated level of effort is 26,880 for the basic contract and 26,880for each option, if exercised. The incumbent contractor is ITT-AES, Inc. located in Alexandria, VA. It is anticipated that only one award will result from this procurement. NRL uses Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and amendments to RFPs. Paper copies of the RFP will not be provided. This is not a solicitation. The actual closing date for proposals will be stated in the solicitation when issued. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
