- FISC-San Diego, Regional Contracting Department is announcing intention to issue a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a). A RFQ will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. The sole source is for 80/20 Incorporated?s ?Industrial Erector Set? products. 80/20 aluminum products and fabricating/manufacturing services will be required to produce per contractor supplied drawings, aviation application, floorboard tables, engine cowling stands, roll racks, and sponson work platforms. F&L Industrial Solutions Inc., is the sole source contractor for this project due to their prior experience with the same fabricating and manufacturing capabilities required. The Government has determined that a Contractor in the southern California area will be selected for award so that on site inspection during fabrication can be performed by the Government to ensure adherence to drawings and specifications. The contractor will be required to provide a technical proposal describing in sufficient detail on how they intend to perform the required services to provide and manufacture the 80/20 material, current pricing for each phase of the project to include hourly labor rates and Past Performance Data, which will be evaluated to ascertain the contractor(s) capabilities.. Naics: 423840, business size 100 employees is applicable. All services/material will be inspected and accepted at destination. Delivery location: Fleet Readiness Center-SW, San Diego, CA 92135. This procurement is issued as restricted. The RFQ will be available for review and downloading at the following websites: www.neco.navy.mil and www.fedbizopps.gov on or about April 3, 2007. The solicitation period will close on 1600 PM, PST, April 13, 2007. Responses to the RFQ are preferred to be submitted electronically via email (provided all information is contained) and or fax.
