- THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO AWARD A FIRM-FIXED PRICE CONTRACT UNDER SOLICITATION/REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL N69450-07-Q-3583, JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR MARINE CORPS RESERVE CENTER TERRE HAUTE, IN THIS SOLICITATION IS A SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. The NAICS Code for the proposed acquisition is 561720, Janitorial Services, and the small business size standard is $15.0 Mill. The Federal Supply Code is S201 Custodial/Janitorial The services includes the Contractor furnishing all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, supplies and supervision needed to perform custodial services as described herein. Custodial service applies to all designated spaces including, but not limited to halls, restrooms, lockers rooms, dressing rooms, office space, work areas, entranceways, lobbies, and storage areas. Cleaning shall include areas under furniture, furnishings, floor mats, rugs, and runners. If need be, the Contractor will be required to move all furniture and furnishings before cleaning and restore them to their proper locations after cleaning has been completed. This contract will include a base year and four one-year options. There will be no future synopsis in the event the options included in the contract are exercised. No new work can be issued after one year following award of initial contract unless option year is exercised. Offerors must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database with a DUNS number in order to participate in this procurement. For instructions on registering with the CCR, please visit the website for CCR at http://www.ccr.gov. The Government intends to issue the amendments for this Solicitation/Request for Proposal (RFP), electronically by posting it on the NAVFAC Website, http://esol.navfac.navy.mil only. Offerors must register on the Internet at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Proposals will be due by April 10, 2007. Amendments will be posted on the web site for downloading. This will be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE OFFERORS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. The government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any proposal.
