- NAVAIR NAWCAD Lakehurst intends to enter into a sole source delivery order with the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office (JPO) to procure various items of peculiar support equipment for the V-22 Aircraft. Bell Helicopter is the lead for this requirement. These items are urgently required to fill current support equipment supply deficits and also to provide support for initial site stand-up of several Air Force and Marine maintenance facilities. The Government intends to procure this equipment under the authority of 10 USC 2304?(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation Section 6.302-1. Bell-Boeing is the only source possessing the requisite system knowledge, engineering expertise, aircraft integration information, and technical data needed to fulfill the Government?s need within the required time frame.
