- The National Park Service is seeking a contractor to furnish all materials, labor, transportation and equipment necessary to construct a new restroom facility at the Glenrock Branch Picnic Area, located at milepost 364.5 on the Natchez Trace Parkway in Wayne County, Tennessee. The work to be performed will include demolition of existing facility, site work, concrete work, concrete sidewalks, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and other related work to construct a finished restroom facility. This procurement will be issued as an Invitation for Bids and is being conducted under full and open competition procedures under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The anticipated range of this project is expected to be between $25,000 and $100,000 with a period of performance of 90 calendar days for all onsite work following the Notice to Proceed. The winning contractor will be required to provide a Performance Bond (SF-25) and Payment Bond (SF-25A) equal to 100 percent of the award amount, along with a valid Certificate of Insurance. The solicitation package will be available on or about April 13, 2007 and a site visit is scheduled for May 3, 2007 at 10:00am. This notice is not the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Department of Interior's National Business Center (NBC) web site, at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be made available. Bidders desiring to conduct business with DOI are requested to register at the National Business Center. Bidders wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http://ideas.nbc.gov.
