Description

This is a modification to the presolicitation notice issued on January 23, 2007 for award of firm-fixed price modification P00014 to contract W56HZV-05-C-0229. The presolicitation notice stated we would be negotiating, on a sole source basis, with J LG Industries, McConnellsburg, PA for a quantity of 268 ATLAS I vehicles. The total estimated value was $39,500,000.00. We are now adding an option permitting the government to purchase up to 60 additional ATLAS I vehicles. The option must be exercised by 186 days after issuance of modification P00014. The estimated value of the option if all 60 ATLAS I vehicles are purch ased is $8,610,027.00. This increases the estimated value of modification P00014 by $8,610,027.00 from $39,500,000.00 to $48,110,027.00.
