Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested, a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, FA8601-07-T-0027, is a request for quotations (RFQ). This RFQ is issued under simplified acquisition procedures using the authority of FAR 13.5 SET ASIDE: 100% small business set-aside. All small businesses are encouraged to participate in this procurement. This RFQ has one line item. The item being procured is: CCD Camera for Flow Research for AFIT, WPAFB OH 45433. The following minimum requirements must be met: -The Camera system shall be integrated with existing CARS system in the ENY lab. -The camera system shall have the single-shot signal-to-noise ratio of 100000:1 in room air for the CARS system for N2 (this needs to be demonstrated in a near-adiabatic hydrogen-air flame). -Unintensified CCD Camera with USB connection -2048 x 512 pixels -Pixel dimension 13.5 micron -Read noise 1 electron @ 50 Hz -Read noise 5 electrons @ 2.5 MHz -Thermoelectric cooling down to -100?C -Software should be capable of selecting high sensitivity mode or high capacity mode -QE @ 400-700nm must be greater than 90% -QE @ 300-400nm must be greater than 50% -QE @ 200-300nm must be greater than 20% -16 bit digitization -Dark current should be less than 0.0002 electrons/pixel/sec The size standard for this effort is 500 employees.
