- Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, Shreveport LA, requires services to existing cooling tower drift eliminators. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, tools and materials to remove existing PVC drift eliminators from three cells of the existing cooling tower and install new drift eliminators (Brentwood CDX80-10/25 or equal), heavy duty fiberglass tee supports complete with stainless steel support rods, fiberglass walkway and ladder to permit safe access from the roof inspection hatch to the gear reducer in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). The solicitation is to be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 238220. This size standard is $13.0 Million per year. This information is only used for classification purposes in the representatives and certifications portion of the Request for Proposal (RFP). Anticipated issued date is April 12, 2007 and anticipated date for receipt of offers is May 3, 2007. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for April 19, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. All prospective offerors are responsible to visit FedBizOpps website frequently to obtain any amendments or other information pertaining to this solicitation.
