This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this announcement is to seek sources capable of performing the work described in this announcement. NAICS code 811219 applies to this procurement. The performance period is anticipated to be approximately May, 2007, until not later than July, 2007. The Department of Veterans Affairs Mid Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6) is seeking qualified sources capable of performance per the following statement of work: VA Mid Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6) is seeking short term Biomedical Services (Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Repairs) for possible 8 Veteran Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC):  Asheville, NC; Beckley WV; Durham NC; Fayetteville NC; Hampton VA; Richmond VA; Salem, VA; and Salisbury, NC.  The Biomedical Services must be competent to perform PM's, Safety Inspection and Calibration on general biomedical equipment.  Not limited too but general description of equipment is:  Medtronic Defibrillators, Phillips/GE Monitors, Stryker/Hill-Rom beds, Getinge Sterilizers, Alaris IV Pumps, various lab equipment, etc. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than Noon, April 2, 2007, local time. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
