- Description
- The U.S. Maritime Administration has a requirement to perform topside repairs on the TEXAS CLIPPER (Ex: Sirius). The work includes Removing boat/davits and jacket water heaters; Simplex Grinnell and CO2 system Certifications; Replacing auxiliary boiler, boiler steam distribution valves, A/C unit/compressor, water pump seal, and rain hoods on forecastle vents; Repairing macerator pump, vent supply motors, and SSDB cylinder head; Cleaning boiler fuel oil tank and vacuum tank; and Opening/Inspecting sprinkler pump. Work is to be accomplished during June-July 2007. The IFB will be posted to this website on or about April 6, 2007. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's), the DOT short-term lending program (STLP) offers working capital financing and the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
