- THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE (DOS), Bureau of Overseas Building Operations (OBO), is seeking to pre-qualify firms for Design/Build Services for additions to the existing Embassy Chancery in Vilnius, Lithuania. The Design/Build Services (D/B) will include but not limited to: a two-story addition (approximately 900 Gross Square Meters) to be constructed over the existing one story Consular facility. Consular operations will continue during construction. The project may include but not limited to: structural system, exterior cladding, roof ing, interior finishes, HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing systems, fire suppression systems, technical security systems and cabling, Force Entry, Ballistic Resistance (FEBR) doors and windows, blast protection, a new fire stair and a new exterior elevator attached to the existing building. The project contains Classified Access Areas (CAA). Security clearance requirements: a Secret Facility Clearance (FCL) with secret safeguarding capability, and Secret or Interim Secret personnel security clearance. Estimated Design-Build Cost: US$ 10 to 15 Million. Performance period for the Design/Build Services: not to exceed 22 months.
