- Description
- The contractor shall perform all construction work necessary to install a 6ft x 120ft prefabricated steel truss bridge, including concrete abutments, drilled shafts, and trail approaches to span the North Fork of Cherry River on the Monongahela National Forest, in Nicholas County of West Virginia. The work to be done will include, but not be limited to: mobilization, construction survey and staking, soil erosion control, clearing and grubbing, excavation and embankment (trail), placed riprap, crushed aggregate, structural concrete, drilled shaft, rock socket, prefabricate bridge superstructure, and geotextile. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies, and perform all work required in accordance with drawings and specifications of the contract. Location of project: From Richwood, WV: travel East on State Highway 39/55 to arrive at the USFS Gauley Ranger Station. Bridge site is approximately 500 feet west of the Gauley Ranger Station.
